  	Homer Elbert Jolley, Sr 81, passed away October 5, 2019 at his residence in Lake City, Florida. Homer was born June 19, 1938, in Homerville, GA to the late Carlie Hillman Jolley Sr & Bernice Irene (Lang) Jolley. Married to Sherry Dianne (Sexton) Jolley for 16 years. Nothing brought greater joy to him than spending time with family. Going to the lake, reunions, special events anything that brings the family together was highlights in his life. He worked in road construction with Caddle & Jackson for many years and finished his career at the City of Lake City with 22 years before retiring. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in 1972 at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Lake City, Florida. He studied at Jacksonville Theological Seminary where he earned a degree of “Bachelors of Arts in Christian Education” May 28, 1995. He moved to Suwannee Valley and started attending the White Springs Church of God where he continued to serve God with great passion until the day, he parted this world and entered into heaven.
