She was born September 27, 1932 in St. Augustine, Florida to William Green and Mattie Rue Robinson Perry. A labor and delivery nurse, she enjoyed her career with Alachua General Hospital for over 25 years. She was known as the neighborhood nurse. Mrs. Kokomoor loved her family and spending time sitting by the lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Marvin Kokomoor in 2007. She is survived by her children, Jenese Sauls (Bobby) of Melrose, FL, Howard Butts (Jan) of Jupiter, FL; Karl Butts (Lindy Ann) of Melrose, FL and Jay Butts (Carla) of Inverness, FL; step-children, Frank Kokomoor (Pam) of Akron, OH, Karen Folsom (George) of GA and Mary Kokomoor of Gainesville, FL; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Rev. Donald Kokomoor officiating.
