- Claude Pierce Paschall, age 74, died unexpectedly Monday, September 30, 2024. Claude was born on July 7, 1950, in Lake City, Florida to Shirley Waldron Paschall and Calhoun Paschall.
Claude is survived by his brothers: Irvin and Donnie Paschall, his daughters; Courtney Paschall Fleming and Ashley Paschall Byrd, his seven grandchildren; Jory Wilson, Kaylianna Paschall, Sosha Domingo, Vince Moring, Xander Moring, Malaya Staples, Milton Staples, his two great grandchildren; Xander Moring and Ilani Domingo.
He is preceded in death by parents; Calhoun Paschall, Shirley Waldron Paschall Henderson, and stepfather Lenville Henderson, brothers; Preston and Billy Paschall. Claude proudly served in the United States Marine Corp.
His life changed for the better in 1979 and 1981 when his daughters were born. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved to spoil those closest to him. He loved to make people feel special and his giving spirit is testimony to that. He looked at life as something to be enjoyed and he strived to bring happiness to all he met. He was always making others laugh with his witty jokes and infectious laughter. He loved God, his Savior, Jesus Christ, and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served faithfully. He loved genealogy and learning about his ancestors. His faith carried him through life and brought him tremendous peace. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all that knew him.
A viewing is scheduled for 12:00 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm on October 7, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 909 SE Country Club Rd, Lake City, Fl 32025. Bishop Chris Lowery will be conducting.
He will be laid to rest at the Corinth cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S. US HWY 441, Lake City, FL, 32025, 386-752-1954. Please leave words of comfort for the family at www.gatewayforestlawn.com.
