  	Mary L. Pafford, age 89, passed away at Haven Hospice Lake City on March 23, 2023. Ms. Pafford was born October 25, 1933, in Tifton, GA to the late Dewey and Donnie Seay Vaughn. In 1948, she moved to Florida. There she met her husband, Curtis Pafford and they spent many wonderful years together raising their family in Lake City. Ms. Pafford was a beautician by trade. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, and working on crafts. Early mornings you could find her getting at deal a garage sale. Ms. Pafford was a member of The Cross Church in Ellisville. She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Donnie Vaughn; her husband, Curtis Pafford; daughters, Kathryn Pafford and Marsha Smith; and 5 siblings. Ms. Pafford is survived by her children, Wayne (Diane) Pafford of Lake Butler, Dennis Pafford of Lake City, Melissa (David) Pafford of Jacksonville, Debra (Chuck) Robarts of Branford, and Bobby Pafford of Lake City; her sisters, Sarah and Molly Griner; grandchildren, David, Josh, Kaitlyn, Chelsea, Tammy, Christine, Malcom, Megan, Harold, Michelle, Katisha, Jenny, Ashley, Daniel, Brian, Brittney, Charlie, Michael, Cody, and Jonathan; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service to honor Ms. Pafford will be held at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, GA on Wednesday, March 29th at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 28th at Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. Pastor Kenneth Edenfield of Cross Church will officiate the service.
