  	Julie Hodges Tate, 53, transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville on March 29, 1968 and the daughter of Gene & Leanne Hodges. Julie graduated in 1986 from Terry Parker High School and FSCJ in 1988, where she and her mother attended and began their careers as hairstylists. She and her daughter, Lauren attended and graduated in 2013 from Virginia College as registered nurses. Julie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, Jaja and friend. On September 4, 2020, her life changed forever and her cancer journey began. She had the love and care of her amazing family and friends. Surviving family include her husband, Bryan Tate; parents: Gene & Leanne Hodges; 5 daughters: Kala (Matt), Lauren (Tyler), Bryanna (Kevin), Brandy (Brett) and Margaret; 5 grandchildren: Carter, Jack, Olivia, Hadyn and Nash; 1 sister and family: Jeannie, James, Emily and Dana Peoples; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family. Celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at North Jacksonville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 8531 N.
