Mr. Gilpen was born Oct. 9, 1947, at Lequire, OK. He was employed with Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent, retiring as a supervisor after 29 years of service. Survived by his wife, Liz; son, Johnnie Gilpen of Norman; daughters, Sabrina Gilpen of Mustang and Bonnie Davis of Frederick; brothers, Jack of Wilburton, Tom of OKC, and Bill of Hollister; sisters, Fern McClary of Mustang, Sue Fisher of Spiro and Katherin Stoddard of Shawnee; 2 grandchildren, Riley and Seth Davis.
