- Sandra Beasley Elliott, age 73, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Elliott was born June 4, 1947 in Durham, North Carolina to Burton W. and Evelyn B. Beasley. She received her Business Degree from Kings College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Elliott was employed by National Welders and Saber Aviation both of Charlotte, North Carolina. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Burton Douglas Elliott.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband, Douglas W. Elliott; daughter, Jennifer E. Sanders; sons, Joel T. Elliott, Tyler J. Elliott and wife Rebekah, Dustin W. Elliott; her siblings, Nancy (Mac) Liles, Malinda (John) Lowery, Burton (Cynthia) W. Beasley and Steve (Becky) Beasley; grandchildren, Emma Sanders and Connor Sanders.
Her commitment to volunteer work included several roles at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, which were the Bereavement Committee, church office volunteer, served as an on sight advocate for walkers in the church gym as well as a member of the Disciple Sunday School class.
Visitation 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28208. Graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 1915 Oakdale Road, Charlotte, North Carolina 28216.
