- Jonathan "Michael" McRae, 40 of Hope Mills, passed away July 25, 2018.
Born in Cumberland County, he was the son of Edward Clay McRae and the late Linda Haddock McRae.
He is survived by his wife, Pati Solis-McRae; children, Andy Marquez-McRae, Gustaf Paolo McRae, Cassandra Penelope McRae; his father, Edward Clay McRae; a brother, Steven McRae and wife Ann; a sister, Catherine Luckenbaugh and husband George; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael graduated from South View High School in 1996 and received his undergraduate degree from UNC-Pembroke. He loved the outdoors and especially loved his family. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, July 30, 2018, at Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services in Hope Mills.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church, Marks Creek Church Rd., Hamlet, NC. Condolences may be left at pinecrestfuneralservice.com.
