  	Carl Randall Burgess, 66, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015. He was born in Athens on Oct. 4, 1948, to Carl C. Burgess and Mrytle Louise Burgess. He was married to his loving wife, Barbara, for 48 years. He was a Mason at Davidson Lodge 103 and a member of Faith Baptist Church of Monroe. Surviving family members are his wife, Barbara Ann Burgess; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kellie Burgess; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Frank Heusser; daughter, Ashley Burgess; grandchildren, Billie and Archie Burgess, Frankie, Raegan and Faith Heusser; sister, Millie Bradford; and brother, Bruce, and his spouse, Angie Burgess. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 7, with the Rev. Don Malcom and the Rev. Chris Conner officiating. Burial followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Health Care of Atlanta at Scottish Rite (choa.org) or the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation (pkdcure.org).
