- Nina Sue York, age 76 of Gardendale, Al passed away on August 15, 2017.
Nina was born on August 16, 1940 to Mr. & Mrs. Arthur E. White.
She was a native to Cullman, AL. and later moved to the Birmingham area where she graduated from Ensley High School in May 1958.
She was long-time member of Huffman Baptist Church. Nina retired from Office of Personnel Management.
Nina is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ronny York; her three children, Holly York, Tod York (Teresa) and Grant York (Cheryl); seven grandchildren, Andrew, Alexandra, Morgan, J.J., Rachel, Amanda and George-Ryan; three great grandchildren; her siblings, Don White, Ira White and Mary Robertson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Valley Springs Baptist Church in Cullman, AL at 11:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Valley Springs Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Spencer Knight is officiating.
