CHELMSFORD -- Patricia A. Butler, a resident of Chelmsford for 45 years, passed away on June 30 at the age of 76. She was the beloved wife of Maurice L. Butler, with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage on October 20.
She was born in Faison NC on December 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Jefferson W. and Mabel L. (Mallard) Faircloth.
Prior to her retirement, Patricia worked as a silk screener for Info Inc. in Ayer MA for several years. She was active at the Chelmsford Senior Center, was an avid bridge player and toll painter and enjoyed arts and crafts and yard 'saleing'. Most importantly, she loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a vibrant woman who just loved life.
In addition to her devoted husband, she leaves two sons, Maurice L. Butler Jr. and his wife Karen of Lowell, and Ronald A. Butler and his wife Jill of Methuen, a daughter Daurice Courcy and her husband Rick of Paris ME, and seven grandchildren, Jason Butler, Rich Boisvert and wife Tina, Kara Boisvert, Christopher Butler, Ashlyn Butler, Rick Courcy, and Evan Butler. She is also survived by her brother Wade Faircloth and his wife Daphne of NC. She was the mother of the late Gregory L. Butler who passed away in 1991, and sister of the late Mabel Potter.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 242 Boston Rd. Please meet directly at church. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
