  	JOE EARL NOBLES 1941 - 2004 August 8, 2004 Joe Nobles passed away Friday, August 6, 2004 at his home. Joe was born in Atmore, Alabama on September 13, 1941 to Joel E. and Wilkie Nobles. Joe moved to Pensacola in 1954 and graduated from Tate High School in 1960. He was retired from Gulf Power Crist Plant after 31 years of service. Joe was a member of Gonzalez Baptist Church and an active member of Panhandle Archery Club. He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. Joe served our country from 1959 through 1962 in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Priscilla Mimms Nobles; sons, Jonathan Nobles (Vicki) of Daphne, AL. and Joel Mead Nobles (Cathy) of Pensacola; five grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Caitlin, Alex, Joshua, Chase and Nicole; two sisters-in-law, Nora Ligon and Bette Singletary; three nephews and three nieces; and a host of grand nephews and nieces. Funeral services for Joe will be held on Monday, August 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from Faith Chapel North-Cantonment with Dr. Bobby Musselwhite officiating. Interment will follow at Gonzalez Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 8, 2004 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Our lives will be left emptier but our memories of our simple, loving father who cared so much will always be with us.
