  	Floyd D. Wilkes: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) - December 9, 2002 Deceased Name: Floyd D. Wilkes ROSEBORO -- Floyd D. Wilkes, 86, of 9190 N. Salemburg Highway, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, in Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Mr. Wilkes was a retired farmer. He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, where he was a trustee, treasurer, deacon, choir member and Sunday school teacher. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Hickory Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Johnny Armstrong. Burial will be in Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church cemetery in Dunn. Mr. Wilkes is survived by his wife, Margaret Wilkes of the home; a son, William D. Wilkes of South Carolina; a daughter, Margaret W. Simonetti of Roseboro; a sister, Ludie W. Turner of Dunn; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Copyright 2002, The Fayetteville (N.C.) Observer
