  	GERTRUDE MORGAN WILKES November 26, 1926 - January 22, 2011 BIOGRAPHY Graveside services for Gertrude Morgan Wilkes, 84, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011, at Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Salem Crossroads. Bishop Tony Ashworth will be presiding. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. Mrs. Wilkes died on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital. One of five children of the late Henry and Esther Jackson Morgan, she was born on November 26, 1926. She is survived by four children, Dennis Brannon (Teresa), Ronnie Brannon (Frances), Esther Wilkes, and Earl D. “Buddy” Wilkes, Jr. (Tracey); ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilkes was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Earl Douglas Wilkes; two sons, Glenn Brannon and David Wilkes; two grandchildren, Jamie Brannon and Dee Dixon; one sister, Rose Jackson; and three brothers, Melvin, Dan, and Leroy Morgan.
