- CHESTER
Mrs. Margie W. Brock, 78, of 588 Gardendale Circle, Chester, SC, widow of Ira Edgar Brock, died Sunday, June 4, 2000 at her home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Barron Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Reggie Parker officiating.
She was born August 3, 1921 in Chester County, SC to the late Grove C. Wilkes and the late Jane Allen Wilkes. She was a retired sales clerk and a graduate of Chester High School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Brock and Barbara Barber; four sisters, Goble Beckham, Mary Ruth Moran, Sara statham and Peggy Casey all of Chester, SC; two brothers, Harold Wilkes of Lancaster and Larry Wilkes of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren, Ashley Thomas and Carl Barber and one great grandson.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday at Barron Funeral Home.
