	Mrs. Beulah Terry Wilkes, 100, of 758 Marks Creek Church Road, Hamlet, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 1, 2015 at Rockingham Manor. She was born in Richmond County on Oct. 24, 1914, daughter of Edward and Minnie Terry. She was a lifelong member of Marks Creek Presbyterian Church. She loved being active whether traveling or working in her garden. Mrs. Wilkes also enjoyed singing in the church choir; now she is singing in the Heavenly choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Ernest Wilkes; and daughter, Evelyn Blue. She is survived by her sons, Neal "Archie" Wilkes of Hamlet and James Edward "Eddie" Wilkes and wife Peggy of Hamlet; sister, Eva Currie of Greensboro; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harrington Funeral Home. At other times the family will meet at the home of her son, Eddie, 759 Marks Creek Church Road. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Wilkes family.
