  Thomas Whaley was a silver smith. His second wife was Samantha P. Brown married 29 April 1884 Gwenette Co. Ga. Samantha died at child birth in 1888. It is believed Thomas drowned himself in the Yellow River. Thomas Whaley had seven children by first wife Jane Hollingsworth.
