Ronald Gilbert Wainright, 77, of Owensville, MO passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at mercy Hospital in Washington, MO.
Ronald was born in Brunswick, GA on March 10, 1940, to the late Gilbert and Vinabell Wildes Wainright. He is also preceded in death by 2 sons, Kevin Wainright and Gerald “Jerry” Wainright; and sister, Reba Durant.
He had served his country with the United States Marine Corps.
His survivors include his significant other, Jill Steuber of Owensville; 2 sons and their spouses, Marcus Wainright (Charlene) of Glen Burnie Maryland and Danny Wainright (fiancé Marsha Bostic) of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherri Hirn (R.C.) of Cantonment, FL; stepbrother, Charles Barry (Jan) of Brunswick, GA; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and also several other relatives.
Partial arrangements were entrusted to Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon (July 23, 2017) from 2pm-3pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (July 23, 2017) at 3PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Knox Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be R.C. Hirn, Danny Wainright, and Marcus Wainright.
Family and pallbearers are asked to be at the funeral home by 2:30pm Sunday.
Final arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
